Understanding the cost of charging stations is the first step in transitioning to electric vehicles. This project encourages organizations in Pacific Power territory to take advantage of free evaluations for charging station assessments. This program can help non-residential Pacific Power customers evaluate vehicle options, charging systems, electric rates, and benefits from Clean Fuels Credits.
The “Creating Equitable Access to Energy Efficiency Resources and Improving Homes” project is focused on identifying and addressing barriers to accessing solar, solar + storage, and energy efficiency among low-moderate income and Latinx communities in Hood River County. This project included interviews with energy efficiency service providers, two focus groups, and a community survey that together aimed to learn more about energy efficiency and renewable energy needs, perceptions, and barriers in our community. Results from these outreach efforts are informing the project’s summary report, which will identify opportunities for the project’s next phase, which aims to increase awareness and uptake of existing programs; increase collaboration among energy efficiency service providers; and address some of the barriers identified in phase one.
